Terms of Use
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These terms set out the conditions for using the iOS app "OKIPO: Alarm Clock & Wake Up" (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these terms.
1. Purpose of the App
The App is a general-purpose app that helps you build a habit of getting up in the morning through alarms and missions (Item Hunt, Walk, Push-ups, Scan, Memory, and Shake).
2. No guarantee that you will wake up
The App does not guarantee that you will wake up. Alarms ring through iOS and may not ring, or may not be heard, depending on your device's power, volume, settings, or OS condition. You can also stop an alarm with the iOS Stop button. If you have an appointment you cannot be late for, please use other methods as well.
The App is not a medical device and is not a substitute for the diagnosis or treatment of sleep disorders or any other condition.
3. Missions that involve exercise
Please do the Push-ups, Walk, and Shake missions only within your limits, after checking your physical condition and your surroundings. You can always end a mission with "Emergency stop".
4. Paid features
- The App's paid features (such as scheduling alarms) are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions.
- Prices are as shown on the purchase screen in the App.
- Unless canceled, your subscription renews automatically within 24 hours before the end of the current period and is charged to your Apple Account.
- You can cancel anytime in Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- Payments, refunds, and subscription management are governed by Apple's terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
5. Prohibited actions
- Analyzing, modifying, copying, or redistributing the App
- Using paid features by unauthorized means
- Any action that violates laws or public order
- Any action that infringes the rights of us or any third party
6. Intellectual property
All rights to the App and its text, images, sounds, characters, and other content belong to us or their rightful owners.
7. Disclaimer
We are not liable for any damage you incur from using the App (including damage from oversleeping), except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Notwithstanding the above, this disclaimer does not apply to the extent it is invalid under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you.
8. Changes to or end of the service
We may change the contents of the App or stop providing it. If we stop providing it, we will announce this in advance in the App or on this website.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The updated terms take effect when they are posted on this page.
